Namutthunam Sutra Lyrics

नमुत्थु णं अरिहंताणं भगवंताणं.

નમુત્થુ ણં અરિહંતાણં ભગવંતાણં.

Namutthu Nam Arihantanam Bhagavantanam.

My salutations to the Arihant Bhagwants,

आइगराणं तित्थयराणं सयंसंबुद्धाणं.

આઇગરાણં તિત્થયરાણં સયંસંબુદ્ધાણં.

Aigaranam Titthayaranam Sayam-Sambuddhanam.

who begin the dharma in their age, who found the tirth, who are enlightened by themselves;

पुरिसुत्तमाणं पुरिससीहाणं, पुरिसवरपुंडरीआणं पुरिसवरगंधहत्थीणं.

પુરિસુત્તમાણં પુરિસસીહાણં, પુરિસવરપુંડરીઆણં પુરિસવરગંધહત્થીણં.

Purisuttamanam Purisa-Sihanam, Purisa-Vara-Pundarianam Purisa-Vara-Gandha-Hatthinam.

the best among beings, lions among beings, the finest white lotus among beings, the finest scent-elephant among beings;

लोगुत्तमाणं लोगनाहाणं लोगहिआणं, लोगपइवाणं लोगपज्जोअगराणं.

લોગુત્તમાણં લોગનાહાણં લોગહિઆણં, લોગપઇવાણં લોગપજ્જોઅગરાણં.

Loguttamanam Loga-Nahanam Loga-Hianam, Loga-Paivanam Loga-Pajjoagaranam.

the highest in the world, lords of the world, benefactors of the world, lamps of the world, who bring light to the world;

अभयदयाणं चक्खुदयाणं मग्गदयाणं, सरणदयाणं बोहिदयाणं.

અભયદયાણં ચક્ખુદયાણં મગ્ગદયાણં, સરણદયાણં બોહિદયાણં.

Abhaya-Dayanam Chakkhu-Dayanam Magga-Dayanam, Sarana-Dayanam Bohi-Dayanam.

givers of fearlessness, givers of the eye of wisdom, givers of the path, givers of refuge, givers of bodhi;

धम्मदयाणं धम्मदेसयाणं धम्मनायगाणं, धम्मसारहीणं धम्मवरचाउरंतचक्कवट्टीणं.

ધમ્મદયાણં ધમ્મદેસયાણં ધમ્મનાયગાણં, ધમ્મસારહીણં ધમ્મવરચાઉરંતચક્કવટ્ટીણં.

Dhamma-Dayanam Dhamma-Desayanam Dhamma-Nayaganam, Dhamma-Sarahinam Dhamma-Vara-Chauranta-Chakkavattinam.

givers of dharma, teachers of dharma, leaders of dharma, charioteers of dharma, supreme emperors of dharma who end the four kinds of birth;

अप्पडिहयवरनाणदंसणधराणं वियट्टछउमाणं.

અપ્પડિહયવરનાણદંસણધરાણં વિયટ્ટછઉમાણં.

Appadihaya-Vara-Nana-Dansana-Dharanam Viyatta-Chhaumanam.

who hold unobstructed, supreme knowledge and perception, and have removed every veil of karma;

जिणाणं जावयाणं तिन्नाणं तारयाणं, बुद्धाणं बोहयाणं मुत्ताणं मोअगाणं.

જિણાણં જાવયાણં તિન્નાણં તારયાણં, બુદ્ધાણં બોહયાણં મુત્તાણં મોઅગાણં.

Jinanam Javayanam Tinnanam Tarayanam, Buddhanam Bohayanam Muttanam Moaganam.

who have conquered and help others conquer, who have crossed over and help others cross, who are enlightened and enlighten others, who are liberated and liberate others;

सव्वन्नूणं सव्वदरिसीणं, सिवमयलमरुअमणंतमक्खयमव्वाबाहमपुणरावित्ति, सिद्धिगइनामधेयं ठाणं संपत्ताणं, नमो जिणाणं जिअभयाणं.

સવ્વન્નૂણં સવ્વદરિસીણં, સિવમયલમરુઅમણંતમક્ખયમવ્વાબાહમપુણરાવિત્તિ, સિદ્ધિગઇનામધેયં ઠાણં સંપત્તાણં, નમો જિણાણં જિઅભયાણં.

Savvannunam Savva-Darisinam, Siva-Mayala-Marua-Mananta-Makkhaya-Mavvabaha-Mapunaravitti, Siddhigai-Namadheyam Thanam Sampattanam, Namo Jinanam Jia-Bhayanam.

all-knowing and all-seeing, who have reached the state that is blissful, unmoving, free of illness, endless, imperishable, untroubled and without return, the state called siddhi-gati. I bow to the Jinas, who have conquered fear.

जे अ अइआ सिद्धा, जे अ भविस्संतिणागए काले; संपइ अ वट्टमाणा, सव्वे तिविहेण वंदामि.

જે અ અઇઆ સિદ્ધા, જે અ ભવિસ્સંતિણાગએ કાલે; સંપઇ અ વટ્ટમાણા, સવ્વે તિવિહેણ વંદામિ.

Je A Aia Siddha, Je A Bhavissanti-Nagae Kale; Sampai A Vattamana, Savve Tivihena Vandami.

Those who became Siddhas in the past, and those who will in time to come, and those present now: I bow to them all in three ways, with mind, speech and body.
